This year is focused on student fluency through speaking, listening, reading and writing in authentic, real life situations. The particular focus of the class will be on Spain and its history through literature, (Marianela by Galdos, Don Quijote by Cervantes) art, and culture, such a food and bullfighting. There is review of grammar concepts studied in previous years and we continue to expand our knowledge into more complex tenses. There is an emphasis on class participation, and less on outside homework. The course is a project based course, that allows students to show off the knowledge they have gained of their second language.
